It's all been done before, and most of us can get access to Ancestry.com or a similar site either at home or at the library. I'd much rather see people working on vital records and overseas stuff. And the vital records stuff is often much easier to read. Also, wouldn't it be cool if they told you how many far along they were on the projects? I'd rather spend time on a project that was nearly done than one that has a long way to go.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5882615047107015166.post-47360371812426011552008-07-23T11:19:00.000-06:002008-07-23T11:19:00.000-06:00Renee,I'm sorry, I told you wrong. The "Reset Highlights" option is in the "View" menu, not "Tools".

By the way, I really appreciate your posting of the New FamilySearch areas for going live. It's a little frustrating that I live in a district that will probably be one of the last (Idaho Falls), but the more that are activated means the closer we are.

And thanks to the other "Anonymous" poster about the tutorial. I'll give it a try.

ML in IdahoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5882615047107015166.post-59360839109166620722008-07-23T05:05:00.000-06:002008-07-23T05:05:00.000-06:00All indexers should check out the brand new tutori...All indexers should check out the brand new tutorial found on www.familysearchindexing.org under the Help tab. Even those who have been indexing since the beginning should go through it carefully. You will not regret the time you spend on it. Everyone will learn something. If everyone did this, the arbitrator's task would be simplified.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5882615047107015166.post-21770555353164847442008-07-22T20:09:00.000-06:002008-07-22T20:09:00.000-06:00Renee,If you open another batch with the highlight...Renee,

If you open another batch with the highlights off the page, try clicking "Reset Hightlights" in the Tools menu. It may or may not work for you, but I've tried it and it worked for me.

ML in IdahoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5882615047107015166.post-7946914491775998622008-07-22T06:57:00.000-06:002008-07-22T06:57:00.000-06:00Hey Renee, You asked how one gets appointed to be ...Hey Renee,

You asked how one gets appointed to be an arbitrator. Each stake has a FamilySearch coordinator and it's up to them to identify indexers in their stake who they think would make good arbitrators. It's also their responsibility to keep track of the indexing:arbitration ratio for their stake.Sue Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09992864428653646752noreply@blogger.com
