Renee Zamora is the writer behind Renee's Genealogy Blog. She has been blogging since 2005 and reports on what's happening on the LDS Family History scene. Technology and organizing, and how they relate to genealogy, are also recurring themes. She is currently attending Salt Lake Community College, Genealogy Course and writes a weekly blog article on her experience.
Renee has been involved in genealogy since she was 15 years old, and primarily researches in the Warren and Washington Counties of New York. Renee currently serves as Secretary for the Utah Valley Technology and Genealogy Group (UVTAGG formerly UVPAFUG). She is a member of the Utah Genealogical Association (UGA) and the Warren County (NY) Historical Society. She has served as a Family History Consultant for many years, and currently works at the American Fork Family History Center located in the Alpine Tabernacle. Renee is an employee of RootsMagic, Inc. Her crowning achievement is reaching position #5 on the pedigree chart with the birth of her first grandchild. She has three beautiful children, a wonderful husband and resides in American Fork, Utah.
