300 Million records FREE at Ancestry.com for the next 2 days

The following is from Ancestry.com.

Below are the 30 collections that will be opened up for free between December 26-29th. This represents more than 300 million select records from collections added or updated in 2012. This has been a great year for content, and we want to give everyone an opportunity to search these records for free. The 1940 U.S. Census represents 134 million records that were indexed and are now searchable on Ancestry.com (These records will be free on Ancestry.com through 2013). Almost 9 out of 10 Americans have a relative in the 1940 Census, making this a great resource to start your family history journey.

To access these records, visit Ancestry.com/2012.

Included in the 1940 U.S. Census collection are the new fields that are now indexed and searchable. Though we are not done indexing all of the fields that we plan to, you can now enjoy the index for the following fields:

Merry Christmas from the Zamora's

From the Zamora Family
William, Renee, Philip, Marie & Garrett

Our Christmas card is online at the link below:

Do You Have Time Saturday to Help some BYU Students?

My nephew James Harris and other students at BYU are involved in developing a family history mobile app and needs some volunteers to give them feedback.  If you have time this Saturday could you stop by and help them out. Call it your last good deed for the year.

As I mentioned in my last email, things have been going really well with our idea for a family history mobile app. Now we're hoping to set up a focus group with about 10 people, to introduce them to Chronicle (the name of the app) and get some feedback. I was wondering if you happen to know anyone who might be interested in participating in this type of focus group? It would probably last about an hour total. The only requirements on the participants' part would be to have some recording device and interest in family history.

We're hoping to hold this focus group on Saturday, December 29th, on BYU's campus at 2:00 pm in room 139 of the Tanner BuildingIf you have any questions we'd be happy to go over exactly what we'd be sharing with the group
Thanks again for all your help Aunt Renee. I hope to hear from you soon!

UPDATE: Location has changed to room 5519 in the Wilkinson Center on the BYU Campus, at 2:00 pm.
