The library’s holdings are a treasure trove for those interested in LDS Church history, who have LDS ancestry or are compiling histories of the branch, ward stake, district or mission. The Church History Library is located in Salt Lake, a block away from the familiar Family History Library. It is a repository providing invaluable historical resources which can be utilized for writing histories of communities wherever Mormon settlements have been established.
Jay Burrup is a native of Downey ID. A descendant of early LDS settlers, he claims relatives in Kaysville, Ogden, Uintah, Richville and Logan. He served a mission to Milan, Italy.
