This talk presents a case study of a pilot and crew of a B-17 shot down over Germany, illustrating how to find and access multiple sources to learn about the experiences of these WWII heroes.
George G. Morgan - Saturday, September 7, 10AM PDT

Brick wall research blocks are inevitable. That is when we must use our most creative research skills, and it is essential that we move to other family members and collateral lines. This lecture will make you stop and think about what alternative research paths you might use, and point you to resources you may never have considered.

Beth Foulk - Wednesday, September 18, 6PM PDT
The tale of white slavery often goes untold. The King freed himself of the burden of overcrowded jails. The impoverished broke the chains of want and need. The records tell our ancestors' stories.
The Southern California Genealogical Society offers the webinar series to genealogists around the globe as part of its long-term goal of providing educational opportunities to its members and non-members alike.

We will be able to continue to offer these webinars as long as they are self- supporting in terms of finances. The Society depends on the purchase of memberships or donations to cover the costs of speaker fees, equipment and GoToWebinar software.

Please help to fund the webinar program by purchasing a membership(memberships start at $35 per year), by making a donation on the SCGS website or by donating through PayPal. Click the logo below.
