The Riverton FamilySearch Library Hosts an Event
on September 17th from 9:00 a.m. to Noon
RIVERTON, UTAH¾Professional genealogist Dan Poffenburger credits his Grandma “Poff” for his love of family history. She was a devout Baptist, the daughter of parents with seven marriages between them. She was also an orphan, who turned tragedy into triumph, and the lessons she taught have inspired young and old for generations. Poffenburger will entertain you with his amazing stories, humor and inspiration, as he shares her story in his keynote presentation on “Marriages, Death, Divorce, and Munchkins: Grandma Poff’s Legacy of Love and Family History.”
Dan Poffenburger, AG®, is a Senior Content Strategist for the Patron Services Division of the Family History Department for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has been researching professionally for 23 years and is accredited in England research by the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen).
Following the keynote presentation, there will be two blocks of four classes that will cover topics of interest to both beginning and advanced family history enthusiasts.
Classes to be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. are:

· “Everything You Wanted to Know about Fold3 (formerly Footnote.com)”¾Bret Petersen
Registration is not required for this free seminar. The Riverton FamilySearch Library is located in the LDS Riverton Office Building at 3740 Market Center Drive. The facility is near the intersection of Bangerter Highway and 13400 South, just east of The Home Depot.
