RootsTech: 3 General Authorities and Other Church Leaders to ProvideTraining
Family history training for priesthood leaders and Church members, including youth, will be available as part of the free family history training event offered in conjunction with RootsTech on March 21-23, 2013. These classes will be taught by General Authorities and other Church leaders and will include a sneak peek of new FamilySearch features. See more about RootsTech.

On Saturday, March 23, youth ages 11 to 18 are invited to participate in a number of classes and activities related to family history and temple work, offered in conjunction with RootsTech. Youth are also invited to attend a special evening devotional with Sister Elaine S. Dalton, Young Women General President.
Youth who participate will learn what other youth are doing to help further the work of salvation and learn how they can use fun technology to embrace the invitation to do family history.
Classes will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center, with Merit Badge and Personal Progress activities available at the RootsTech Expo Hall. The special devotional with Sister Dalton will also be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center that evening at 6:00 p.m.

Story and Song With the Mormon Tabernacle Choir:
"Land That I Love, the Immigration of Irving Berlin"

- Those who come early will be able to listen to the normal Thursday night open rehearsal of the choir
As part of RootsTech, enjoy a special evening of music, video, and spoken word to celebrate the connections and stories we all share of our immigrant pasts. The world-renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir will perform musical numbers such as "High on a Mountaintop," "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing," and Irving Berlin's "God Bless America." Special remarks will be provided by Elder Allan F. Packer. No tickets are required, anyone is welcome to attend. Limited seating available.
