Family History Library August 2013 Research Series

Free Research Series on France Research
The Family History Library Hosts Events in August.

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH Genealogists and family history enthusiasts looking for help with research in France will be interested in classes held at the Family History Library in August. A free French Research Series will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013, at the Family History Library. The classes will include:

9:15 a.m.    “France Top Research Sites and Databases”
10:15 a.m.  “Reading French Parish and Civil Records”
11:15 a.m.  “French Huguenots”

To view the class schedule online, go to https://familysearch.org/locations/library_class_schedule.  Classes will be held in the B1 classroom on the first lower level of the Family History Library.  The library is located to the west of Temple Square on West Temple between North Temple and South Temple Streets in downtown Salt Lake City. On Saturdays, parking is free to library patrons and is located behind the Church History Museum.  To register for these free classes, send an email to FHLClassReg@familysearch.org or call 801-240-4950.

The Family History Library Hosts Events in August.

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH Genealogists and family history enthusiasts looking for help with beginning England research will be interested in classes held at the Family History Library in August. A free Beginning England Research Series will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the Family History Library. The classes will include:

 9:15 a.m.   “Introduction to Research and Records”
10:15 a.m.   “Census & Civil Records and Indexes”
11:15 a.m.   “Church of England Records and Indexes”
12:15 p.m.   “Practice Time”

Free Hispanic Workshop on Online Resources for Hispanic Genealogy
The Family History Library Hosts Events in August.

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH Genealogists and family history enthusiasts looking for help with online resources, taught in Spanish, will be interested in a workshop held at the Family History Library in August.  A free Hispanic Workshop on Online Resources for Hispanic Genealogy will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the Family History Library. The workshop will include:

1:00 p.m.    “Recursos Para La Genealogia Hispana En linea (además de FamilySearch)”
                    (Taught in Spanish)  1.5 hours
