UGA, ICAPGen and BYU Center for Family History & Genealogy 2013 Fall Conference
Are you a newcomer to family history? Or do you aspire to become a professional genealogist? We have a wonderful conference, "50 Years of Excellence", planned on November 8 and 9 at BYU that will help you to accomplish your goals no matter your level of expertise. We are also marking the 50th year of the establishment of professionalization standards for genealogists as administered by the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen).
Sponsored by ICAPGen, UGA and the BYU Center for Family History and Genealogy, this conference offers everything from professionalization classes to classes on the very basics of genealogical research. Many ethnic classes from all over the world will be available and the latest in computer and technological advances in genealogical research will be featured in several computer labs. There will also be an “Ask an Expert” session where you can get one on one advice on your research challenges.
