View Elder Scott's RootsTech Devotional Live Online!
The following is from FamilySearch.
Dear Family History Consultants, Center Directors, Priesthood Leaders, and Family History Enthusiasts:
We have previously announced that Elder Richard G. Scott of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will be presenting a devotional address to all of the family history consultants in attendance at the RootsTech conference. We are now pleased to announce that anyone with Internet access will be able to see a live video stream of his devotional address.
The devotional will take place on Saturday, February 12, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon MST. Those wishing to attend in person must register (click here); those wanting to view the devotional over the Internet can go at 11:00 a.m. MST to rootstech.org and then click on the link under the headline “FREE Live Presentations Online”
The format of the devotional will include time for Elder Scott to answer some questions from the audience. We would encourage you to e-mail your questions ahead of time to firstname.lastname@example.org. Those who plan to view the program on the Internet can also e-mail in their questions.
Times for the consultant training on Thursday, February 10, 2011 have changed; consult the Research Wiki for the latest information.
And finally, just a reminder that for all sessions at RootsTech, including this devotional, the preferred attire is business casual. This means slacks and button-down shirts (no ties required) for men and nice slacks and blouses or pantsuits (no dresses or skirts required) for women.
We look forward to an enjoyable session with Elder Scott.
