Orem Family History Fair

The Lakeridge, Orem, and Stonewood Stakes of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints welcome you to the annual Family History Fair for 2012. We invite all those interested in the how's and why's of family history to join with us March 17, 2012 for instruction and inspiration.

This year's keynote speaker is President David M. Randall, Second Counselor in the Mount Timpanogos Temple Presidency. He will speak at 9:00 a.m. in the chapel.

President Randall served as a missionary in the Eastern Canadian Mission (1960-62). He joined the music faculty of Brigham Young University as the professor of clarinet in 1970. For thirty-four years, he was the clarinetist in the BYU Faculty Woodwind Quintet. After directing clarinet studies for over twenty years, he served as Associate Dean in the College of Fine Arts and Communications and then as Director of the School of Music.

President Randall has served in stake presidencies, as a bishop, bishop’s counselor, high councilor, high priests group leader, teacher, stake missionary, and nursery assistant. He and his wife were recently released after presiding over the Canada Edmonton Mission (2004-07).

During their 48 years together, Brother and Sister Randall have raised 3 boys and 3 girls. They have 20 grandchildren. Brother and Sister Randall were called to serve in the Presidency of the Mount Timpanogos Temple in November of 2011.
