RootsTech Satellite: Tulsa Family History Fair

Tulsa Family History Fair
The Tulsa East Stake Family History Center
Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (CST)
Tulsa, Oklahoma

The fair is free to attend, however, pre-registration is requested. However, a paper ticket is not necessary. (Registration Link)

Held in connection with RootsTech, the fair this year will offer broadcasts from the RootsTech conference which is being held in Salt Lake City the same weekend. Additionally there will be live presenters from the area. The Family History Center will be open during the hours of the fair for those who may have individual questions or who may be seeking help on searching for a particular ancestor or family line.

Presentations being offered include topics such as:
Native American Research, Beginning Your Family History, Military Records, Using Your Census to Find Your Story, and more. There will be sessions presented by speakers from both the Tulsa Genealogy Center and the Oklahoma Historical Society and several others.

Lunch will not be provided. However, you are free to bring a sack lunch (there is no storage for this, so you will need to plan accordingly) and a list of eating establishments in the immediate area will be available as well. Tables will be set up to accommodate those who either bring their lunch or wish to "drive-through" and bring it back.
