Get Ready for Friday at RootsTech
We are excited to welcome you to RootsTech 2014 tomorrow morning.  Our opening day was bigger and better than ever.  We're expecting that to continue tomorrow. To help you take advantage of all the RootsTech has to offer, we are sharing our "RootsTech Recommendations" for Friday.
  • If Friday is your first day at RootsTech, please register in the South Foyer when you arrive. You'll need to check in to get your badge and conference materials.   Registration check-in opens at 7:00 a.m..
  • Doors for the Opening Session open at 7:30 a.m.   The session doesn't begin until 8:30 a.m., but we encourage you to get in early enough to get a good seat.  "The Indiana Jones of Genetics", Dr. Spencer Wells from National Geographic will team up with The Legal Genealogist, Judy Russell to kick things off.
  • Be on hand during the Opening Session to see the future of family history.  We'll announce the winner of the Developer Challenge-a contest among developers and entrepreneurs to honor the greatest innovation to help with family history.
  • Explore the Expo Hall.  We learned yesterday that there is more in the hall than you expect. Visit the hundreds of interactive booths throughout the day.  The doors open at 9:30 a.m.
  • The Family History Library hosts Friday Night at the Library.  Grab some pizza, search for an ancestor, share your favorite family story with our 5-Minute Open Mic, watch episodes of The Story Trek, and we might just have the opening ceremonies of the Olympics to watch, too. The social starts at 6:00 p.m. Even if you don't have a ticket for pizza, the Library will be open to the public, if you want to get in some research time.

Thanks for your participation in RootsTech and we're looking forward to seeing you Friday.
