We are proud to be the anchor filming location of the hit PBS TV series Finding Your Roots with Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. Segments of all episodes of Season 3 were filmed here at NEHGS in our seven-floor research facility. In this new season of Finding Your Roots, Henry Louis Gates, Jr. traces the ancestral trails of 28 new guests including Senator John McCain, Gloria Steinem, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Neil Patrick Harris, Maya Lin, and Mia Farrow.
