The National Archives of Ireland, findmypast, and FamilySearch Bring Lost Irish Records to the Internet

Irish Burning
The National Archives of Ireland and two other popular family history websites findmypast and FamilySearch.org have recently announced the release of records that should prove to be a great source for those doing research to locate their Irish ancestors. This cooperative effort will make available more than 600,000 names from pre-1901 Irish census records. For more information about this cooperative agreement, read the full press release.
